STEP 1/16
Prepare 300g of fully defrosted rice cake. Wheat tteok is good, but rice tteok goes well with this recipe.
STEP 2/16
The commercial rice cake is asked to be washed clean in cold water after opening, so don't forget to wash it if you want to enjoy more tteokbokki.
STEP 3/16
For red pepper paste, use commercial red pepper paste instead of home red pepper paste. There are a lot of delicious ingredients added to commercial red pepper paste, so make sure to eat red pepper paste-based tteokbokki! Use commercial red pepper paste
STEP 4/16
Pour 2 cups 400cc of fresh water into a pan or wok.
STEP 5/16
Add 60g of 2 spoons of red pepper paste to a spoon of rice used at home. If you want a stronger seasoning, add about 1/3 spoon of 10g more
STEP 6/16
For the sweetness, I'm not going to use starch syrup or grain syrup. I'm going to control it Cut it a little bit and 40g of 4 spoons
STEP 7/16
And add 1/3 spoonfuls of flavored salt! Then the sauce for tteokbokki is done! It's really simple^^
STEP 8/16
Mix the seasoning and dissolve the red pepper paste in moderately.
STEP 9/16
Add defrosted rice cake
STEP 10/16
Cut a small piece of green onion into a pan with scissors. Green onion! It has to go in!
STEP 11/16
I roughly cut it into this size, so please refer to it
STEP 12/16
Cut 1 or 2 pieces of square fish cake and put them in. If you don't have fish cake, you can skip it.
STEP 13/16
When the seasoning boils over high heat, reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring in between.
STEP 14/16
If you want to make the color redder, add a spoonful of red pepper powder. I didn't put it in because I wanted to make it the way I used to
STEP 15/16
Boil it over medium low heat for about 10 minutes, and if the seasoning is too watery, increase the time to boil it down. If you want to taste it and increase the sweetness according to your preference, sugar! If you want to make it spicy, add some red pepper paste and boil it for a minute or two
STEP 16/16
The sauce is really simple, but if you try it! You'll be able to taste the same as the sauce you've been working on so much^^
