STEP 1/9
Wash frozen blueberries in running water at least 3-4 times. At first, the purple color fades a lot, but the more you wash it, the lighter it becomes.
STEP 2/9
I put the well-washed blueberries in a pot!
STEP 3/9
Add half as much sugar as the amount of blueberries. If you put 500g of blueberries, 250g of sugar
STEP 4/9
Place skillet on gas stove and simmer over medium heat, stirring to prevent bottom sticking.
STEP 5/9
If the blueberries seem to have thawed to some extent, turn off the heat briefly in the middle and grind the blueberries with a hand blender.
STEP 6/9
If you want to keep the jam for a long time, add 1/2T of lemon juice or vinegar.
STEP 7/9
Prepare for heat disinfection of empty bottles. There was an empty bottle of jam that I bought and ate before, so I washed it clean, heated it in the microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and turned it upside down to remove the water. You can put it in boiling water and sterilize it with hot water while rolling the empty bottle
STEP 8/9
Boil in a gas stove for 20 to 25 minutes. Set a time by looking at the level of thickness!
STEP 9/9
There was an empty bottle of blueberry jam, so I put it in. 500ml of homemade blueberry jam^^
It has more blueberry pulp than commercial blueberry jam, so it tastes stronger and much better. The amount of sugar may need to be adjusted according to your preference as blueberry sugar may vary.
