It's spicy and chewy! Making Jjolbokki (Jjolmyeon tteokbokki)
I made Jjolbokki with chewy noodles. It's a great recipe for a meal.

  • Rice cake
    300g
  • fish cake

  • red pepper paste
    2T
  • Sugar
    1T
  • Chicken stock
    0.5T
  • crushed garlic
    0.5T
  • Water
    400ml
  • leek
    1/2piece
  • Red pepper powder
    0.5T
  • ground pepper

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/12
Soak 200g of chewy noodles in water and separate them one by one.
STEP 2/12
Soak 300g of rice cake in water.
STEP 3/12
Please cut 3 pieces of fish cake into bite-size pieces.
STEP 4/12
Please cut the green onion in half and prepare it.
STEP 5/12
Put 2T of red pepper paste, 1T of sugar, 0.5T of chicken stock, and 0.5T of minced garlic in a pot.
STEP 6/12
Pour 400ml of water here and stir well. And boil over high heat.
STEP 7/12
When the seasoning soup starts to boil, add the soaked rice cake and bring to a boil.
STEP 8/12
When the rice cake is cooked, add the soaked jjolmyeon and fish cake and stir to cook it so that it does not stick.
STEP 9/12
Add 0.5T of red pepper powder.
STEP 10/12
When the ingredients are done, add the chopped green onions.
STEP 11/12
Lastly, after turning off the heat, sprinkle pepper about 3 times and mix well.
