STEP 1/4
Homemade soybean paste in the traditional way does not have a set expiration date. The taste rarely changes in the middle, so you can eat it for years. When I get one, I usually leave it for over a year.
STEP 2/4
Commercial products are marked 12 to 15 months from the date of manufacture. However, please note that it is a period that can be sold, and it is better to take it before the date passes, right?? Even if the expiration date has passed, you can eat it as long as the smell or taste hasn't changed.
STEP 3/4
You know you can't leave it like this, right? After you eat it, you have to pat it down to make it flat. Don't forget to use a dry spoon or cooking utensil!!
STEP 4/4
I'll organize it for the lastly. Just remember this.
Moisture or contact with air can cause spoilage or mold. Use a wet spoon or spatula, cover it with a plastic pack or wrap, and close the lid!! First of all, it's good to eat it in a small container.
How to keep mold free!!
You can do it in this way.
1. Divide into the freezer.
2. Press down and trim the scooped area so that it becomes flat.
3. Cover with a sanitary pack, wrap, or seaweed or kelp. (To block contact with air)
4. Sprinkle with coarse salt on top.
