Making Songpyeon~ Rice cake is the best
It's been a while since I made songpyeon at home. Cows should be different from home-made ones. I used peas, black sesame, and red bean paste for baking^^

Cooking Steps

Wash and soak the spicy rice the day before and drain it in a strainer before going to the mill the next day.

Squeeze the water of the boiled mugwort and take it with you and grind it well in the mill. lol

If you say, "Make sure to season it with salt at the mill," grind the rice with a moderate amount of seasoning. If you just grind the rice powder, you should season it with salt when you knead it.

Now, you have to knead the rice powder with the dough, and the ratio is about 4T of water for 2 cups of spicy rice powder, but the rice cake is chewy and delicious when you make the dough that is not too hard.
It tastes better if you add a bit of sugar to the rice powder^^

You have to knead the dough as hard as you can to make it chewy. From now on, use both hands

If it's well lumped together, it's a very good dough.
The dough with mugwort contains moisture in itself, so you shouldn't knead it with water little by little. Cover the finished dough with a wet cloth so it doesn't dry.

Take out the pea filling from the freezer and melt it

Mix black sesame flour with condensed milk.
