STEP 1/7
First, sterilize the glass bottle with hot water.
You have to boil water and glass bottles together from the beginning
If you put a glass bottle in boiling water, it can crack.
You can sterilize hot water in about 5 minutes.
STEP 2/7
First, remove the top to wash thoroughly.
I heard that vitamin loss is less when you take off the top after washing, but I chose hygiene over vitamins.
STEP 3/7
After washing it with water two or three times
STEP 4/7
Mash the strawberries with your hands.
STEP 5/7
Mash the strawberries moderately and boil them down over high heat without mixing the sugar.
STEP 6/7
First, mash the strawberries over a strong fire to blow away the moisture, and if there is about two-thirds of the original amount left, pour 50-60% sugar and continue to boil them down.
When the sugar is ready to melt, reduce the heat to medium heat.
STEP 7/7
Just before it's done, add 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
It has a sterilizing effect and doubles the sweet and sour taste.
If the desired concentration is achieved, turn off the heat and cool it down and put it in a glass bottle.
To check the concentration, when you drop it in cold water
If the strawberry jam doesn't spread and sinks to the floor, it's done.
After mashing the strawberries, don't mix the sugar, boil it down first and drain the water
When there's about two thirds left, mix it with sugar and boil it down
It's a tip to cut the time to make it in half.
