STEP 1/8
Cut the ingredients for malatang into bite-size pieces.
STEP 2/8
Pour 1 pack of beef bone broth and 450ml of water into a suitable saucepan and boil over high heat.
STEP 3/8
When the soup boils, put a strainer on the pot
STEP 4/8
Add 4 tablespoons of Haidirao sauce.
STEP 5/8
Instead, if you remove these ingredients right away, the taste and aroma of mala will be lighter, so put them in a sieve and soak them in the soup for about 5 minutes!
STEP 6/8
And after 5 minutes, strain it out.
I used Malaxianguo sauce and it was a bit oily. It's not too much oil, but if you don't like it, remove it now.
(I just did it!)
STEP 7/8
Then add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and melt it.
STEP 8/8
When the peanut butter melts, add all the prepared ingredients at once and simmer.
If you boil the ingredients until they're all cooked, you're done making malatang!!
You can freely choose the ingredients in malatang, and it's really good to add corn sleep or puju to it! The ingredient I recommend the most is cabbage. If you add cabbage, the soup gets cool and it's really delicious!
Make sure to put in the cabbage!
