STEP 1/13
Soak chestnuts in water for 40 minutes to an hour.
STEP 2/13
Prepare enough sweet potatoes to eat and wash them clean in water.
STEP 3/13
Drain the soaked chestnuts by putting them in a sieve.
STEP 4/13
Remove excess moisture at night with a kitchen towel.
STEP 5/13
Make cuts at the bottom of the chestnut with a knife.
STEP 6/13
Place foil on oven pan and top with trimmed chestnuts and sweet potatoes.
STEP 7/13
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees 45 minutes.
I did it for 45 minutes because the sweet potato is small and thin, but if it's a big, plump sweet potato, you can heat it for about an hour :)
STEP 8/13
When the oven is preheated, put in a pan of sweet potatoes and chestnuts.
If you cook chestnuts for 45 minutes, they may become too cooked and hard, so you should take them out in the middle. If you heat up the chestnuts for 25 to 30 minutes, they're cooked properly.
I set the alarm to take out the night after 25 minutes and gave it back :)
STEP 9/13
In 25 minutes, a golden brown chestnut!!
STEP 10/13
Take out the chestnuts separately
STEP 11/13
Put the sweet potatoes back in the oven
Return the rest of the time :)
STEP 12/13
As it is baked in the oven, the cut is opened, so if you lift it up a little, the skin will peel off easily :)
STEP 13/13
Warm roasted sweet potatoes and chestnuts are completed :)
It tastes better with milk ^-^b
* Please prepare sweet potatoes and chestnuts as much as you want :)
* Depending on the size or thickness of the sweet potato, the time to heat it in the oven may vary. :)
