The process of steaming and cooling eggplants on a pot is more troublesome, so it is more troublesome to have more washing dishes than to have more tools. So, rather than seasoned eggplants that are steamed and seasoned, I cut and grilled eggplants, seasoned or braised, and stir-fried them all the time. The last eggplant harvested this year was steamed in a steamer for only 5 minutes and seasoned soft and moist. I still have branches in my garden, but I don't think it will grow to an edible size. If I harvest it, I'll have to fry the last eggplant.
