STEP 1/19
It's an ingredient you need to make an old snack oranda!
Puffing beans (grain), nuts (peanuts, pumpkin seeds),
They are butter, sugar, salt, grain syrup, and gangjeong mold.
Add nuts to taste,
If you don't have a frame for Gangjeong, you can use the container at home.
We're going to shape it anyway!
STEP 2/19
If you prefer a big bite of nuts, you can use them without cutting the pumpkin seeds,
If you don't want the nuts to be chewed as big as I do, please chop them slightly and use them.
It's a roasted nut, but I used it once to maximize the savory taste!
Stir-fry pumpkin seeds and peanuts.
STEP 3/19
Now put 170g of grain syrup in the royal pan.
STEP 4/19
25g of sugar, please
STEP 5/19
Add a pinch of salt and 16g of butter.
STEP 6/19
And add 1ts of water.
STEP 7/19
We need to melt all the ingredients
You can't stir it until it's all melted!!!
STEP 8/19
It took a long time because it was on low heat at first, but you can boil it over medium heat until it boils.
STEP 9/19
When it's all melted, add the puffing beans.
A bag of puffing beans is 250 grams!
STEP 10/19
Now add the stir-fried nuts.
Add the type and amount of nuts to taste.
I put in about 70g of nuts.
STEP 11/19
Now mix gently over low heat to mix.
STEP 12/19
If you look between the grains, can you see a spider web or something like that!
If you keep stirring over low heat, you'll see that they're intertwined like spider webs.
Then you can turn off the light now.
STEP 13/19
Now, put the puffing beans into a wooden frame for Gangjeong and fill it up.
If you don't have a wooden frame for Gangjeong, you can use the square container at home!
STEP 14/19
The eggs filled in the oranda frame were used by raising two wooden frames for Gangjeong for height (left), and one frame was used for two-thirds of the eggs filled! (right)
If you use 250g of puffing beans, you will get the amount of oranda as shown in the picture.
Then, put the puffing beans in a mold and let them harden for a while.
STEP 15/19
If you think the oranda is stuck to a certain extent, carefully remove the mold carefully.
STEP 16/19
If you cut it into bite-sized pieces, it's done!!
Oranda may break while cutting, so please cut it carefully.
STEP 17/19
This is the total amount.
STEP 18/19
If you want to give a gift, you can wrap it in a plastic bag
It'll look better, right?
STEP 19/19
When I put it in the box, the recipient really liked it.
Soft handmade oranda is the best for desserts and gifts.
Please refer to the recipe and try a delicious dessert^^
When making oranda, add grain syrup, sugar, butter, salt, and water and never stir when melting it!!
And the degree of softness of the finished oranda can vary depending on the temperature.
If it's warm, it's soft, and if you store it in the refrigerator, you can eat it with a hard texture.
