STEP 1/11
Boil the octopus with water.
Radish makes octopus soft. So I cut radish in water and boiled it for him. Slice the radish thinly and put it in, and by the time the water boils, it will be slightly cooked.
STEP 2/11
I'll add soju.
I added leftover soju to remove the fishy smell of octopus. I boiled it with a lot of water and added about two glasses of soju.
STEP 3/11
Dip the octopus in and take it out from the legs.
If you're going to cut it and eat it right away, the shape doesn't matter, but if you're going to prepare a customer's table or serve a beautiful octopus, the visuals are also important.
In order to cook the octopus beautifully, dip it slightly from the legs and take it out for about 30 seconds.
Then you can make a pretty octopus like a flower by drying the octopus legs outward.
STEP 4/11
Boil the octopus for about 7 minutes.
Octopuses become tough when boiled for a long time, and soft when cooked too little. Of course, if you boil it for a long time, it becomes very soft, but the texture of the octopus is not good. The time to boil an octopus may vary slightly depending on the size of the octopus. If you boil an octopus that weighs about 1kg in boiling water for about 7 minutes, it will be boiled properly. Blanch the legs for 30 seconds, then soak the body and boil for 7 minutes.
STEP 5/11
Then you can meet an octopus with a flower in this pretty shape.
STEP 6/11
rinsing in cold water
If there is ice, rinse it out in ice water. If you don't have one, please rinse it quickly in cold water. For the bouncy octopus.
STEP 7/11
It's a happy octopus just by looking at the sight of it? A pretty octopus like a flower^^
STEP 8/11
I'm going to cut it and eat it. It would be great if you were very good at cutting, but I wasn't. When the octopus legs are cut diagonally, the shape is not consistent and often becomes strange. So I give up cutting it diagonally. Cut the legs in half lengthwise.
STEP 9/11
Cut the octopus legs in half based on the sucker.
STEP 10/11
You can cut the thick part in half. You can cut an octopus that weighs about 1kg in half.
STEP 11/11
Then you can cut it into regular shapes. ^^
I think it would be good to cut it like this and make octopus sushi.
