Making super simple hot pot and malatang at home
I tasted hot pot for the first time during my trip to Joongkyung... Hot pot is quite addictive. It's a taste that I keep thinking of even when I come to Korea! These days, we make it simple at home with commercial sauce. It's not the deep taste of Jungkyung Hot Pot, but it's delicious.

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/7
Soak the fuju and flat noodles for about two hours.
I soaked it the night before.
STEP 2/7
Put fish cake and quail eggs in the skewer
Prepare cabbage leaves, bean sprouts, and mushrooms
I prepared beef for shabu and a pen shell crown.
STEP 3/7
This is the malatang sauce I bought at the mart.
But the taste is very weak.
So I added more laoganma sauce.
STEP 4/7
Dissolve a bag of sauce in a liter of water.
STEP 5/7
Add a spoonful of Laoganma sauce.
Then the spicy taste and scent are stronger.
STEP 6/7
If you make shabu shabu while cooking, hot pot.
I put the ingredients in the soup and boiled it for about 20 minutes.
It's malatang.
STEP 7/7
If you eat it while cooking
The taste and aroma are getting stronger.
Any ingredients for hot pot and malatang are good. Fish and shellfish and squid are good, too.
