Gently dissolve salt-free butter at room temperature

Add sugar and whip until white

Add room temperature egg and vanilla extract and mix

Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt

Blend into 11 pieces with spatula until no powder is visible

Add chopped macadamia and white chocolate and mix lightly

Cover with plastic wrap and rest in refrigerator for 1 hour

Scoop dough with 5cm diameter ice cream scoop

Pan the dough with enough space between each other (it spreads a lot when baking!)

Bake at 170C for 10-12 minutes (do not bake for long if you want a soft and chewy texture)

Allow to stand in a pan for 5 minutes, transfer to rack and cool completely

Remove butter and eggs to room temperature beforehand
It spreads a lot when baking because it contains a lot of sugar and fat, so please pan with plenty of space and tissue
If you want a soft and chewy texture, don't cook it for too long
