How to make tofu jeon simple and pretty
I bought ingredients for dinner at the market yesterday, but I didn't buy ingredients for lunch. I had an appointment with my friends for lunch, so I was going to eat at a good restaurant, but it was suddenly canceled on the morning of the day. One of the friends I was supposed to meet said that he was working in the evening, but it changed to morning shift, so he went to work, and the other had a body ache, so he felt like he had to go home with nutritional supplements from the hospital. The rest of my friend said, "Let's meet together even if it's just the two of us." But I said, "What's the fun of having just the two of us, let's just meet together next time." But he was cool and said, "OK" I decided to eat the food I was going to make in the evening, and I didn't decide what to make for lunch, but I thought, "What kind of food should I make?" The first food that came to my mind was tofu jeon. I was thinking of foods that can be made and eaten simply rather than foods that have complicated preparation processes such as preparing ingredients, but I thought of tofu jeon. I was lazy to buy ingredients at the local mart, so I made tofu jeon with tofu at home and it was delicious. You can just make it normal, but if you use crown daisy, you can make a prettier tofu jeon because the color comes alive, and I'll show you how to make it simple and pretty.

Ingredients
  • Tofu
    1piece
  • Eggs
    2ea
  • pan frying powder
    3T
  • a crown daisy
    12piece
  • Salt
    little
  • ground pepper
    little
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/5
Cut the commercial pancake tofu into 12 pieces and season it with salt and pepper while removing the water.
STEP 2/5
You can prepare crown daisy leaves according to the number of tofu, but wash them in water and remove moisture with a kitchen towel.
STEP 3/5
Beat eggs finely using desired cooking tools such as spoons and chopsticks.
STEP 4/5
Drain and evenly coat the commercial pancake tofu seasoned with salt and pepper.
STEP 5/5
Then, cook it slowly on a low heat on an oiled pan, and when the bottom is fully cooked, put the crown daisy on the top and turn it upside down once to cook it.
If you cook it over high heat, the outside of tofu pancake is burnt and the color is not pretty and the inside is not warm, so it is recommended to cook it slowly over low heat even if it takes time. Mugwort has a strong scent, so it goes well with tofu pancake, but if you don't have it, it's delicious to make it with only pancake powder and eggs. I don't have red pepper at home, so I didn't put it in boldly, but if I cut the red pepper into a round shape and decorate it with a crown daisy, it can look much prettier than the tofu jeon I made.
