Cooking Steps
STEP 1/17
You can use white flour. I used regular whole wheat flour
It's a recipe based on a bagel bread. You can prepare a cup of 125g flour for one bagel bread.
*I just used it, but if you sift it and use it, it gets softer
STEP 2/17
Add 3g of sugar and 1/2 spoon of rice
STEP 3/17
Add 1/2 spoon with 3g of salt and rice spoon
STEP 4/17
Add 1/2 spoon and chopsticks with dry yeast 3g rice spoon and chopsticks
STEP 5/17
When I measured 65g of warm water, it was about 1/3 cup
STEP 6/17
Stir in warm water in a bowl containing flour, salt, sugar and dry yeast
*Salt, sugar, and dry yeast were okay to touch each other
STEP 7/17
Stir to a certain extent and add 1/2 spoon with 3g of butter
STEP 8/17
Please knead it so that it goes well together
*The dough feels dry at first, but if you keep kneading, it becomes moist
After kneading the surface smoothly, apply a small amount of cooking oil to the entire surface
STEP 9/17
Put it in a rice cooker and use the bread fermentation function for 50 minutes
*You can put in 3 pieces of bagel bread and ferment them together
STEP 10/17
After 50 minutes, if you cut the inside of the dough, it's fermented well
STEP 11/17
Push it flat with a rolling pin
STEP 12/17
Roll it long and spread it out at one end and at the other
STEP 13/17
Roll it in two and cover it so that the straightened part wraps around the point
STEP 14/17
If you pinch the overlapping parts and move them to the side, they can all come together
STEP 15/17
Put enough sugar 1T+ water in a ramen pot (about 400ml) and boil it for 40 seconds, turning it back and forth for 20 seconds
I took it, but the picture disappeared
STEP 16/17
Put it in a rice cooker and set the baking function to 40 minutes
STEP 17/17
Done! It's a chewy bagel
It's Suga's recipe for plain bagel^^ Electric rice cookers cook their own pots, so their thermal efficiency is very good, and even if you use them a lot, the electricity usage fee does not differ much. I like products with first grade electrical efficiency.. In my experience, you can use the electricity cooker with confidence :) However, I don't recommend keeping it warm for a long time
