Making gimbap with garaetteok. Simple meal using leftover garaet
I cleaned up the freezer this week. After cleaning up, I feel relieved, and I throw away the ingredients that were stuck in the corner and eat. Our freezer has become very clean. There was a bag of garaetteok, but I was just thinking about eating it. That way, you can grill it, dip it in grain syrup, or cut it and make tteokbokki...I guess so. Or it's good to wrap garaetteok while it's seasoned. In the fridge, there are pickled radish that I used to make bibimbap. I wanted to roll kimbap and eat it.. I don't want to cook rice again, but I'm going to make gimbap with the leftover rice cake today.

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/12
I'll melt the frozen garaetteok slightly and soak it in the broth to make it taste better. It's a bit boring when you only eat rice cake, but it tastes better if you season it like Busan's water rice cake. These days, the bag comes out well, so it's easy to use. It's better if you add a spoonful of soy sauce after boiling it again. If you don't have a bag again, you can boil anchovies, shrimp, and vegetable broth like you make broth when cooking fish cake soup, add soy sauce, and soak rice cakes over low heat.

Beat in the eggs and put them through a sieve.

You don't have to put in vegetables, but I added vegetables and rolled the eggs to make it taste better. I think you can chop up the leftover vegetables and put them in. I finely chopped spinach, paprika, carrot, and pickled radish.

Add chopped vegetables to egg mixture and mix well. Add a little bit of salt and pepper.

Place egg water in a preheated frying pan over medium heat and roll the drained garaetteok on top when it is lightly cooked.

Roll the eggs as thin as possible. You just have to roll it around once.

If the rice cake is rolled well with egg rolls, it's all done

Cut the seaweed to fit the size of the rice cake and roll the rolled rice cake into a rolled kimbap.

You can put a piece of cheese on top and roll the rice cake. It's good to roll the egg when it's a little warm.If it's too hot, the cheese will melt completely. If you roll it when it's a little warm, the cheese melts a little bit, so it's more delicious.
I personally like the one with cheese.

I like the chewy taste of garaetteok. It's more delicious because there's a bit of seasoning on the rice cake.

As expected, you end up eating a lot of gimbap!
The savory taste of the egg and the cheese are salty and savory, and there is more flavor.
I think they'll like it if I give them snacks. It's a delicacy for adults, so it's also good for a meal.
I think it would be good to pack a lunch box and go out. It's a gimbap with an interesting texture.
