How to make Jokbal Homemade Ohhyang Jokbal Recipe
It's already been 3 years since I've lived here, not in Korea I think food was one of the hardest things here When you travel abroad, you crave Korean food Still, the trip is over, but I really miss Korean food while living in a place where I can't see the end, so I made jokbal myself :)

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/13
Soak jokbal in water to drain blood If it was frozen, you'd have to defrost it for a longer time and drain the blood
STEP 2/13
Next, remove the fine hairs with a disposable razor and wash them clean And half a tablespoon of instant coffee Add 10 bay leaves, pepper and boil for 30 minutes First, you can throw away boiled water because it removes impurities
STEP 3/13
Wash the pot clean and wash the boiled pigs' feet in running water And pour exactly 3L of water into the pot
STEP 4/13
Add 500ml of soy sauce
STEP 5/13
Add 150g of sugar and 150ml of starch syrup
STEP 6/13
Add 150g of soybean paste in the same proportion
STEP 7/13
Add about 10 tons of garlic
It's good to add ginger too
STEP 8/13
Add about 5 cheongyang peppers, but it's more delicious if you poke the peppers with a fork :) Add 1 onion, too
STEP 9/13
Add washed jokbal and plenty of octagonal, fennel, cloves, and cinnamon trees
STEP 10/13
Add all the ingredients and boil over high heat for another 1 hour and 30 minutes 30 minutes when I first boiled it a while ago. 1 hour and 30 minutes when I second boiled it. 2 hours in total, the jokbal is completed :)
STEP 11/13
Remove the well-boiled pigs' feet and put them on a strainer tray to cool them in a well-ventilated place
STEP 12/13
Let it cool for 4 to 5 hours and cut it nicely
STEP 13/13
Making jokbal at home!! It's possible, right? :)

Thank you. I wanted to eat jokbal, so I went to the Chinese mart and bought all the spices. It was my first time making jokbal, so it was kind of gross to see the fur, but I think it's worth it. The groom doesn't eat much, but he eats a lot because it's delicious.
