I'm going to boil the vinegar water. Add 6 cups of water, 2 cups of sugar, 4 cups of vinegar, 2 T of salt, 4 bay leaves, 2 spoons of pickling spice, Cheongyang red pepper, and lemon juice and bring to a boil. When it starts to boil, bring to a boil for another 2 minutes or so and turn off the heat.
