STEP 1/16
Abalone isn't that expensive these days. Prepare a pack of 5 large abalones. Preparing abalone is the most important thing. It seems to take up half of the dish, depending on whether it is trimmed or not. Even if it's hard, please prepare the brush thoroughly. When you see abalones turning white, you know why they talk about the importance of grooming.
STEP 2/16
The next important thing is to separate it from the shell. You can see the bone-hardness in the 10 o'clock direction in the picture. It's abalone teeth. When you separate abalone, you should put a spoon toward your teeth and separate it. It's easy to separate and doesn't break the intestines.
STEP 3/16
It's a well-separated abalone. The internal organs are not broken and are well preserved. It will be hard to succeed from the beginning, but if you do it a few times, you will get the hang of it.
STEP 4/16
The next challenge is tooth removal. The first difficulty is cleaning, the second is separation from the shell, and the third is removing the teeth. At first, it didn't work well and it was hard to remove it, but after doing it a few times, it was removed well. If it comes out from the teeth to the long tail below, as shown in the picture, it's completely removed.
STEP 5/16
Remove the internal organs and chop them well.
STEP 6/16
Cut the meat into small pieces so that it has a chewable texture. It's a live abalone, so the flesh is firm.
STEP 7/16
Wash the rice well and soak it for about an hour. You have to prepare the abalone in advance before you trim it.
STEP 8/16
Mix the intestines with the well-soaked rice.
STEP 9/16
After heating the pot, put 2 spoons of sesame oil and stir-fry the meat gently.
STEP 10/16
Then, add soaked rice mixed with intestines.
STEP 11/16
Stir-fry it over high heat. It's said that the fishy smell will disappear if you stir-fry it enough.
STEP 12/16
When it's fried enough, stir well with a little bit of water.Rice turns into rice and porridge is going well. If you stir it often, it won't stick to the floor.
STEP 13/16
Pour some water and bring to a boil. Abalone intestines are in and the color of the porridge appears dark green. Lastly, add 1 spoon of sesame oil.
STEP 14/16
You can adjust the water according to your preference. At Hyori's B&B, you can chop up some vegetables and make them together like Yoona's abalone recipe. We only used abalone to taste the abalone without adding any other ingredients.
STEP 15/16
The abalone porridge is made with delicious colors. The scent of sesame oil is spreading, and the scent of abalone is also spreading. The smell makes me feel refreshed.
STEP 16/16
Ginseng or situational mushrooms are nutritious abalone porridge. It's become quite delicious. It was a delicious meal that the whole family ate a bowl of kimchi alone. It was abalone porridge with lots of taste and nutrition.
Please soak the rice in advance for about an hour. The preparation of abalone takes up half of the cooking, so please prepare it well. You can add some vegetables to your liking.
