STEP 1/11
[Cutting the sweet potatoes]
Rinse with water, rubbing the surface of sweet potatoes with dirt and impurities with a kitchen cloth. I'm going to peel it and use it, but it's better to wash it before using it!
STEP 2/11
Remove the skin of four cleanly washed sweet potatoes using a potato knife. I used 2 pumpkin sweet potatoes and 2 chestnut sweet potatoes. If you use it in combination, the sugar content and texture are different, so you can enjoy it in various ways.
STEP 3/11
Now cut it into bite-size pieces.
I cut half of it into cubes, and the other half with sticks. I'm going to eat it with my kid
I cut it into small pieces according to the standard of the child's bite. I'm going to cover it with cheese later, so the shape doesn't really matter.
STEP 4/11
[Frying sweet potatoes]
It's time to start frying sweet potato cheese. Put enough cooking oil in a frying pan and preheat over high heat. If you don't know if it's properly preheated, I recommend frying just one piece first.Check the frying time!
STEP 5/11
I fried it on medium heat for about 4 minutes. If you have two types of sweet potatoes like me, you have to fry them separately.
The time it's fried is different.
STEP 6/11
It looks like it was taken out with a tray after about 4 minutes. It's fried well, right?
Fries are always right
It's so good even if you eat it like this.
I'm satisfied with the taste, and my son says, "Mom, me too! Me too!"
STEP 7/11
I fried the sweet potatoes cut into cubes over medium heat for about 6 minutes. Every time you fry it, the oil temperature drops
Fry once and preheat over high heat. Put the fried sweet potatoes on the kitchen towel
I'll make the cheese sauce while you drain the oil.
STEP 8/11
[Making cheese sauce]
Put 200ml of milk in a hollow frying pan
Bring to a boil over high heat until foam rises.
STEP 9/11
When milk boils, reduce to medium heat, add 4 sheets of cheddar cheese and melt while stirring.
STEP 10/11
If the cheddar cheese has melted to a certain extent, add 1 tablespoon of parmesan cheese and 1 pinch of salt.
STEP 11/11
Stir over low heat until thickened. I boiled it for about 5 minutes. If you think it's too thick, add a little more milk and boil it!
1. If you're not sure how much oil you're going to preheat, I recommend frying just one piece first. Check the frying time first.
2. If you made two types of sweet potatoes like me, you have to fry them separately. The time it's fried is different.
3. The oil temperature drops every time you fry it, so fry it once and preheat it to high heat.
