Making budae jjigae at home
After the Korean War, the army stew was boiled with canned heme and spare meat from the U.S. military unit. To boil it properly, you can put in a can of baked beans... It needs to be savory and it needs to be cooked in an instant way... Today, I will introduce budae jjigae that you can boil with only basic ingredients at home.

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
Please prepare canned ham such as spam, lycham, and Vienna or Frank sausage. I used a Boost sausage. They prepared pork stew as well.
STEP 2/8
I cut the green onions and cheongyang peppers diagonally, and shredded the onions.
STEP 3/8
I cut the canned ham and bust sausages into bite-size pieces.
STEP 4/8
Stir-fry meat and kimchi in a pot. Stir-fry the meat until the surface is cooked. Kimchi tastes much better when stir-fried in a greasy place. One of the ways to cook kimchi stew deliciously with uncooked kimchi is to fry kimchi in oil, so don't skip this process.
STEP 5/8
Beef bone broth from the market is very popular these days. In fact, I made a large amount of anchovy kelp stock and frozen it in the freezer, but yesterday, I quickly used commercial beef bone broth, but the taste was darker and the instant feeling was slightly stronger. Because of that, the children who cried were going crazy saying that it was more delicious. Add the beef bone broth and boil it over medium heat for more than 10 minutes until the kimchi is slightly softened.
STEP 6/8
Add the sauce, onion, cheongyang pepper, and green onion
STEP 7/8
I added canned ham and boiled it a little longer until it tasted good, and served it.
STEP 8/8
It's similar to kimchi stew, but it tastes different. Kimchi stew has a rich flavor with kimchi soup, but Budaejjigae has to have a small amount of kimchi and a large amount of ham, and no kimchi soup. It's budae jjigae that has a stronger taste of ham. It's good. And make sure to add ramen noodles.
