Making chewy potatoes easily
I wanted to eat braised potatoes at a restaurant, but it was hard to cook them. It's really easy and convenient to cook it like this

Ingredients
  • Potato

  • Soy sauce
    1T
  • Water
    2T
  • Starch syrup
    2T
  • Garlic
    2t
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/4
Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes, soak them in water for about 5 minutes, and drain.
STEP 2/4
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of starch syrup on the drained potatoes and toss.
STEP 3/4
If you leave it at room temperature for about an hour, water forms like this.
Water is produced by the principle of osmotic pressure.
A kind of 'right now' is the secret.
STEP 4/4
Add the seasoning (Soy sauce 1: 2 water), 2 tsp garlic, and the remaining starch syrup.
It's a delicacy even if you cook sweet potatoes in the same way. You can make it simple when you want to eat braised potatoes like you eat in a restaurant. It's more savory if you sprinkle sesame seeds gently on top. Mix it with starch syrup and boil it down
