STEP 1/9
It is virtually impossible to make rice cakes at home with only flour. This is because the sticky texture of Korean rice and glutinous rice called amylopectin is low in flour. (What I learned from Sikyoung and his brothers while trying wheat cake during the welfare center program) So, I mixed your precious glutinous rice powder from the capital, La Paz, to serve you some decent rice cake
STEP 2/9
- Add 2 cups of glutinous rice flour to 4 cups of flour.
STEP 3/9
- Pour a cup and a half of water with a spoonful of salt and a little lukewarm water,
STEP 4/9
- I'm going to mix it up
STEP 5/9
- I got mad at mixing it with a small spoon and then carefully mixing it with a small bowl, so I ended up using my hands,
STEP 6/9
- Place a steamer in a pot and place the dough in a lump on the cloth.
STEP 7/9
- After about 25 minutes of steaming for about 25 minutes...
STEP 8/9
- It's like this... At this point, you have to press the dough down with the thought of getting rid of air..
STEP 9/9
- It was so hot that I hit him with a 10-ball stick (KRW 1,600 in Korean won) I bought at the Bolivian market. - After beating him back and forth hard, apply a little bit of Chi Dae-ju bear sesame oil with your hand and hang him long, and cut him slightly with scissors.
- The glutinous rice flour is mixed, so JOGOM's sticky flour rice cake is complete!!!
