Ingredients

    500g
  • Sugar
    250g
  • lemon juice
    3T
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
Bananas and sugar are 2:1
Lemon is used to keep the banana color from changing
Instead of lemon juice, I used a little bit of lemon syrup at home, but the color doesn't change much^^
STEP 2/6
Put the bananas in a container to crush them
Mix it with lemon juice and crush it
STEP 3/6
Then, add sugar. Shake it, shake it
STEP 4/6
I thought it would've been better ground with a blender,
But since it's homemade jam, I'm going to make it look like a lump
STEP 5/6
Banana jam doesn't have much moisture, so I added a cup of water.
Otherwise, the banana will stick to your skin or get too sticky
STEP 6/6
If you put water in and boil it down, the banana jam is over!! I just need to boil down the water, so it'll be quick, right? It takes less time to boil down than other jam^^
Lemon juice is essential to maintain the pretty color of bananas ^^

Low heat is the key. It burns quickly because I did it on high heat for the first time
