STEP 1/8
Measure 500g of watermelon, remove the seeds, and cut it into appropriate sizes. Wash the apple mint leaves in running water and cut them in half. (Adjust the amount of mint to your liking) Shake and mix a bag of sugar in a clean pot, pour it in, and mix with the cut watermelon.
STEP 2/8
Mash well with a spatula and mix well with the ingredients of jam sugar. If you leave the substance as in the picture, it becomes a conceptual. I'm going to the blender to make a fine jam that applies well.
STEP 3/8
Blend the watermelon and jam sugar mix with a blender.
STEP 4/8
Now, put the pot on the heat and boil it over medium to high heat. Keep stirring well. The one with yellow seeds didn't bother me much, so I left it as it is.
STEP 5/8
You have to time it when it starts boiling as shown. Boil it for another 6 minutes. Continue to stir well so that the jam sugar ingredients do not clump to one side.
STEP 6/8
Do a gelation test. If you put a drop or two in cold water and clump together well as shown in the picture, it becomes a jam with a moderate viscosity. If it doesn't look like that, please boil it a little longer. Watermelon jam is made into a jam that applies a bit.
STEP 7/8
Add the prepared mint leaves to the boiled watermelon jam and mix them well.
STEP 8/8
Put the completed watermelon mint jam in a clean disinfected bottle one by one. It's good to keep the entrance of the bottle clean if you use a funnel.
The finished jam is great to eat on top of shaved ice, ice cream, and yogurt.
