STEP 1/4
First of all, pick out the bug-eaten beans, wash them, soak them in plenty of water, and soak them for half a day.
STEP 2/4
Put the soaked beans in a pot, pour enough water to cover the beans, close the lid, and boil them.
STEP 3/4
When the water is reduced by half and the beans are cooked when you chew them, add 6 tablespoons of soy sauce and cook them. If you put water and soy sauce together from the beginning, it becomes hard. Cook the beans first and add soy sauce when the water is half-reduced.
STEP 4/4
When the sauce is almost reduced, add 2/3 tbsp sugar and 3 tbsp starch syrup and stir well. Rather than just adding sugar, you need to add white starch syrup to make it look glossy and more delicious. Don't put sugar and starch syrup in soy sauce. You need to put it later to prevent it from burning. If it's well-cooked, you can sprinkle sesame seeds on it's done.
